EL PLANO DEL AVIÓN DE PASAJEROS / THE PLANE OF THE AIRLINER

El plano del avión de pasajeros ha finalizado. Han sido varios días vigilando los cielos y esperando a que pasara un avión. He filmado varios aviones pero ninguno era lo que yo quería. Creo que mi ángel de la guarda me ha ido dejando pistas hasta llevarme a la idea definitiva... pero ahora, si no os importa, no os la contaré hasta que se estrene el cortometraje. Lo que sí os puedo decir es que se verá un avión.
The plane of the airliner has finished. They have been several days monitoring the skies and hoping a plane. I have filmed several planes but none was what I wanted. I believe that my angel has been leaving tracks me up to removing to the definitive idea ... but now, if it does not matter for you, I will not tell it to you until the short should have the premiere. EN BUSCA DEL AVION+UNA CASA LLENA DE ATREZZO+FILMANDO EN UNA SAUNA // IN SEARCH OF THE PLANE+A HOUSE FILLS OF ATREZZO+FILMING IN A SAUNA

Llevo varios días en busca de un plano. Miro al cielo y me quedo con la cámara esperando a que aparezca un avión de pasajeros. Por el momento todos vuelan demasiado alto. Hoy he ido al aeropuerto pero todavía sigo buscando mi plano. Continuará.Los dos sets más importantes del rodaje son dos pequeñas habitaciones. Las últimas semanas he comprado varios objetos de atrezzo para los dos sets. Ha sido complicado pero también ha sido divertido ambientar las dos habitaciones. Creo que la maqueta de un tren la he conseguido gracias a mi ángel de la guarda.Este sábado hemos rodado casi todas las escenas de interiores. Fue un rodaje muy divertido e intenso por el calor. La casa parecía una sauna y todos acabamos sudando. Las interpretaciones de los actores fueron magistrales y sorprendentes y Pablo, que tenía fiebre, estuvo genial con la cámara. Como anécdota os diré que los dos actores protagonistas se durmieron antes de comenzar el rodaje. ¡Qué envidia!

I go several days in search of a plane. I look at the sky and remain with the camera hoping that an airliner appears. For the present time they all fly too highly. Last weeks I have bought several objects of atrezzo for the two sets. It has been complicated but also it has been entertained to set both rooms. I believe that I have obtained the model of a train thanks to my angel.This Saturday we have filmed lmost all the scenes of interiors. It was a very enterteining and intense filming for the heat. The house was looking like a sauna and we all end up by sweating. The interpretations of the actors were magisterial and surprising and Pablo, who had fever, was brilliant with the camera. As anecdote I will say to you that both actors protagonists remained slept before beginning the filming. What an envy!

NUEVAS SESIONES DE RODAJE / NEW MEETINGS OF FILMING

La semana pasada estuve decorando dos sets para el rodaje con el atrezzo que he comprado los últimos días. Ha sido difícil pero gratificante. Para mí construir un set es como construir un personaje. Los dos tienen que tener personalidad. Cuando veáis el corto espero que os guste. Además he colocado diferentes referencias a películas y cómics conocidos. Descubrir los detalles puede ser un juego divertido.Este fin de semana pasado hemos vuelto a rodar nuevas escenas para el cortometraje. Los actores, Eli y Juanmi, estuvieron geniales y creo que tienen buena química. Pablo no pudo venir porque estaba con gripe y yo tuve que hacer también de cámara. A las seis dejamos de rodar porque la iluminación era diferente. Si en “El secreto 1936” pasamos frío en “Prodigy-man” vamos a pasar calor. Me disfracé unos minutos y casi me deshidrato… Bueno, estoy exagerando un poco. Todo esto fue el sábado. El domingo sólo rodamos dos planos, con Monique y José Luis –que ya trabajaron en “El secreto 1936”- y con Mariano. Creo que aprovecharon muy bien sus escasos segundos de plano y han quedado impresionantes. Ya los veréis. Yo volví a disfrazarme y volví a deshidratarme de nuevo… Bueno, vuelvo a exagerar otro poco. Hoy he ido a por dos piezas más de atrezzo y he continuado diseñando el póster del cortometraje. Continuará.
Last week I was decorating two sets for the filming with the atrezzo that I have bought last days. It has been difficult but gratifying. For me to construct a set is like to construct a personage. If in " El secreto 1936 " we spend cold in "Prodigy-man" we are going to spend heat. I disguised myself a few minutes and almost I dehydrate myself … Well, I am exaggerating a bit. All that was Saturday. On Sunday only we roll two planes, with Monique and Jose Luis - that already they worked in “El secreto 1936 " - and with Mariano. I believe that they were useful very well their scanty seconds flatly and they have remained impressive. Already you will see them. I returned to disguise and returned to dehydrate myself again … Well, I return to exaggerate another little. PRODIGY-MAN: DIARIOS -(PRIMEROS DÍAS DE RODAJE) // JOURNALS (THE FIRST DAYS OF FILMING)

28 de junio.El rodaje del cortometraje “Prodigy-man” comenzó el 28 de junio. Trabajé con Lourdes, Eli, Laura, Santi, Vicente, Laia y Ricard. Rodamos cerca de Plaza España. El ritmo fue vertiginoso y el ambiente divertido. Luego nos fuímos todos a cenar.29 de junioEste segundo día de rodaje nos fuimos al Forum de Barcelona. Rodar en exteriores es muy complicado pues siempre hay gente por todas las partes… pero eso es lo emocionante de un rodaje. El personaje de Eli tiene el récord de los diálogos más largos. Realizó su trabajo con una gran profesionalidad y por primera vez se convirtió en una gran periodista.05 de julioPrimera escena en la consulta de la dentista Yoli. Nos acompañaron Yoli, Juanmi y su bella hija, Olivia, recién nacida. Se portó muy bien y no lloró… aunque no importaba porque no grabamos sonido. Ana y Albert estuvieron impresionantes en sus papeles. Pasaron calor y no los reconoceréis porque llevan la cara oculta. Cuando acabamos rodamos unos planos con ellos para que les podáis ver la cara.12 de julioPrimeras escenas de Enric en el papel del malo de la historia. Volvimos a rodar al Forum de Barcelona. El ritmo fue muy vertiginoso porque nos amenazaba una tormenta. Enric interpretó sus escenas muy rápido y muy profesional. Al final tuvimos que correr porque empezó a llover. Entramos a Diagonal Mar y tomamos unas magníficas hamburguesas y cervezas.13 de julioEste día hicimos una sesión fotográfica con Eli y Juanmi. Los dos se disfrazaron. A Eli no la reconoceréis. Juanmi estuvo muy paciente y profesional. Le fotografía en todas las poses que me vinieron a la mente.Esta semana ya he comenzado el trabajo de post-producción. Durante la semana, Pablo y yo nos reunimos con Roger Julià, el compositor de la música de mi primer cortometraje, “El secreto 1936”. Roger nos contó divertidas historias de Hollywood y nos habló de sus proyectos. ¡Roger es un gran compositor y ya está triunfando! ¡Enhorabuena!19 de julio.Este fin de semana no hay rodaje y he aprovechado para avanzar trabajo de post-producción y para la página web. Mañana nos reuniremos con “El Increíble Hombre Menguante”, que también me cedió unas canciones para “El secreto 1936”. Muy posiblemente, también volveréis a oír alguna canción de “El Increíble Hombre Menguante” en el cortometraje “Prodigy-man”.Las próximas sesiones de rodaje serán intensas y rodaremos las escenas más largas del cortometraje. Espero que mi ángel me siga acompañando como lo ha hecho hasta ahora.

Congratulation!On July 19.This weekend there is no filming and I have been useful to advance work of post-production and for the web page. Tomorrow we will meet "El Increíble Hombre Menguante", who also me yielded a few songs for " The secret 1936 ". Very possibly, also you will return to hear some song of " El Increíble Hombre Menguante " in the short "Prodigy-man". The next meetings of filming will be intense and we will roll the longest scenes of the short. I hope that my angel continues accompanying me as she it has done till now.

PRODIGY-MAN: DIARIOS -(COMPRAS Y REESCRITURAS) // JOURNALS (PURCHASES AND REWRITINGS)

¡Una historia de superhéroes! ¡Eso era lo que quería hacer! Rapidamente me puse a escribir el guión. Se lo envíe a los amigos para que lo leyeran. Sus opiniones fueron muy importantes para mí. Creo que la historia ha mejorado con cada reescritura. Luego llegó el momento de crear un traje de superhéroe. Realicé varios diseños y me fui varios días de tiendas. Compré diferentes piezas de ropa. Un día hicimos la primera sesión de vestuario y decidimos que el traje era demasiado negro y que la máscara no funcionaba. Le añadí más rojo y le cambié la capucha. También debo dar las gracias a mi ángel de la guarda por proporcionarme una de las piezas del traje. Al final hicimos tres sesiones fotográficas con el traje y nos quedamos con el traje definitivo. Actualmente, estamos trabajando en el modelo del traje en 3D y en unas espectaculares secuencias.

Tell the history of a of superheroes! It was what I wanted to do! Rapidly I put to write the script. I sent it to my friends in order that they were reading it. Their opinions were very important for me. I believe that the history has improved with every rewriting. Then there came the moment to create a superhero's suit. I realized several designs and went away several days of shops. I bought different pieces of clothes. One day we did the first session of wardrobe and decided that the suit was too black and that the mask was not working. I added him more red and changed the hood. Also I must give them thanks to my angel for providing one of the pieces to me with the suit. Ultimately we did three photographic meetings with the suit and remained with the definitive suit. Nowadays, we are employed at the model of the suit in 3D and at a few spectacular sequences.

PRODIGY-MAN: DIARIOS - PRIMERAS IMPRESIONES // JOURNALS - THE FIRST IMPRESSIONS.

Han pasado 10 meses desde el estreno de mi primer cortometraje “El secreto 1936”, en Barcelona, y 3 meses desde la última proyección, en Madrid. Me he tomado mi tiempo antes de lanzarme a por este segundo cortometraje, “Prodigy-man”. Quería descansar y coger nuevas ideas. Durante ese tiempo ví una película que me inspiró para dar un enfoque a mi historia. La película era “REC” de Jaume Balagueró y Paco Plaza. También me inspiró “Monstruoso” (Cloverfield). Al final me decidí a hacer algo que me gustaba mucho: ¡Una historia de superhéroes! La premisa era: ¿Cómo reaccionaría la gente si vieran un superhéroe real?.Creo que el 2008 será recordado por el estreno de unas muy interesantes y excelentes películas de superhéroes: “Jumper”, “Iron Man”, “The Incredible Hulk”, “Hancok”, “The Dark Knight” y “Hellboy II”… y “Watchmen” para el 2009. Confío en que “Prodigy-man” será bien acogido por este club de superhéroes de cine y también espero que vosotros lo disfrutéis.

They have happened 10 months from the premiere of my first short " The secret 1936 ", in Barcelona, and 3 months from the last projection, in Madrid. I have taken my time before throwing for this second short, "Prodigy-man". I wanted to rest and to take new ideas. During this time I saw a movie that inspired me to give an approach to my history. The movie was “REC” by Jaume Balagueró and Alpaca Plaza. Also it inspired me "Monstrous" (Cloverfield). Ultimately I decided to do something that I liked much: tell a history of superheroes! The premise was: how would people react if they saw a real superhero?.I believe that 2008 will be remembered by the premiere of some superheroes' very interesting and excellent movies: "Jumper", "Iron Man", " The Incredible Hulk ", "Hancok", " The Dark Knight " and "Hellboy II" … and "Watchmen" for 2009. I trust that "Prodigy-man" will be received well by this superheroes' club of cinema and also I hope that you enjoy it.
